December 28, 2022 What's new for electronic invoicing for the year that's about to begin? THE2022 was a year full of innovations for electronic invoicing. During this year, in fact, the legislation changed and, starting from 1 July 2022, the electronic invoicing obligation was also extended to taxpayers in the flat rate regime with revenues and compensation exceeding 25 thousand euros. 2022 also saw the abolition of the esterometro. In favor of the electronic invoice also for Special Data customers not resident in Italy . And in 2023? What new features are planned regarding electronic invoicing for the year that is about to begin? Electronic invoice and flat rate regime 2023 Through the 2023 Budget Law, the Meloni Government has introduced new requirements for accessing the flat-rate regime . Starting from 2023, in fact, the maximum ceiling of revenues and compensation received in order to apply the preferential rate will increase from 65 thousand euros to 85 thousand euros per year. The number of beneficiaries of the flat-rate regime is therefore expanding, but this does not imply particular consequences on the obligation of electronic invoicing, at least in 2023. For next year, in fact, exemption from the obligation of electronic invoicing continues to be foreseen for flat-rate workers with revenues and compensation of less than 25 thousand euros per year. Starting from 2024, however, electronic invoicing will be mandatory for everyone. Electronic invoicing and healthcare services 2023 The Milleproroghe Decree 2023, a provision which rewrites the current legislation on deadlines and dates of entry into force, confirms the ban on electronic invoicing for healthcare services also for 2023.
